Michelle Day was the interim Secretary of State of Oklahoma from February 1, 2013 to March 1, 2013. Day was appointed to the statewide office by Governor Mary Fallin (R) to replace resigned former officeholder Glenn Coffee.[1]

Biography

Day, a longtime state bureaucrat, has worked for a number of offices including the State Auditor and Inspector's Office, the Department of Central Services, the Department of Public Safety and the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office. She began serving as Assistant Secretary of State in January 2011.[2]
