The Michigan Municipal League is a government sector lobbying association in Michigan. It is represented by the National League of Cities.[1]

Public transportation

A significant expansion of public transit, including light rail, commuter rail, passenger rail and buses. The Get Michigan Moving coalition, of which the League is a founding member, will be working to advance transit expansions.[4]

Stimulus money

Federal stimulus funds sent to Michigan should first be used for infrastructure locally.[5]

Emergency services funding

The legislature and governor must recommit to revenue sharing, give locals the flexibility to control tax dollars and costs in their own budgets, provide state resources to developed areas for services and job development and grant locals the flexibility to offer revenue options for services demanded by citizens.[4]
