Mike Bonin is a member of the Los Angeles, California City Council, representing District 11. He was first elected to the council in 2013.[1]

Biography

Bonin earned his B.A. in history from Harvard University in 1989. His professional experience includes working on the staffs of several Los Angeles City Council members and the staff of Congresswoman Jane Harman. Bonin was also a regional field organizer in California for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, and was the co-founder and program director of Camp Courage, a leadership training program focused on same-sex marriage advocacy and LGBT issues.[1]
