Mike Duffey is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 21. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Biography

Duffey earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. After graduating from college, Duffey worked as a reporter covering the news in the Ohio State Legislature. He then joined Hinton Ltd. Public Relations, where he eventually became the Director of Media Relations until his election to the House. Duffey served two terms on the Worthington City Council.

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Dawn Valasco was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Mike Duffey was unopposed in the Republican primary. Will Johnsen is running as a Green Party candidate. Duffey, Valasco and Johnsen will face off in the general election.[2]
