Michael A. "Mike" McDermott (b. November 22, 1961) is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 38B. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. He is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 38 of the Maryland State Senate.[1]

McDermott ran against A. Kaye Kenney, Marty Pusey and Joe Schanno in the September 14 Republican primary, coming in first to advance to the general election. He came in second to Norman Conway (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010, securing the second of two seats in the district.[3]
