The Minnesota Airport Operation Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 7, 1944 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized state construction and operation of airports. The measure also authorized taxes on aircraft fuel and aircraft sales.[1]
