The Missouri Gasoline Tax Proposition, also known as Proposition B, was on the November 2, 1982 ballot in Missouri as a legislatively-referred state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have authorized a four cent per gallon of gasoline increase, as well as a incidental user fee increase for restoration of county, city and state road and bridge systems.[1][2]
