The Missouri General Assembly Compensation Amendment, also known as Issue 1, was on the November 8, 1938 ballot in Missouri as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1]

The measure would have increased the annual salary for members of the general assembly.[2]
