The Missouri General Assembly Expenses Amendment, also known as Issue 1, was on the November 3, 1936 ballot in Missouri as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1]

The measure would have provided $125 per month in compensation for the general assembly and one dollar per ten miles traveled per session.[2]
