Missouri Watchdog

The Missouri Watchdog is an online investigative news website in Missouri. It is part of the network of Watchdog.org.

Launched in 2010, Missouri Watchdog says on its website that it is "a news website dedicated to investigative journalism about local, state and federal government across Missouri. Its mission is to ensure good government through unbiased news reporting. Waste, fraud, and abuse involving the use of taxpayer money will be investigated and reported.

Brian R. Hook is Missouri Watchdog's lead investigative journalist. He previously helped launch KansasReporter as bureau chief. He also worked as a freelance journalist over a ten-year period for the Financial Times, Dow Jones and U.S. News and World Report. He was a news producer at KTVI-TV in St. Louis, KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City and KAKE-TV in Wichita, Kansas.
