A Monroe City Sales Tax Increase measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Monroe which is in Snohomish County.

This measure sought to increase the current city sales tax by a rate of one-tenth of one percent in order to fund additional police officers for the city as well as police equipment upgrades as needed. The city police department sought to add two more members in order to reduce overtime of the current officers. An estimated $252,259 a year would have been raised from this tax addition.[2]
