Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to replace the current school operations levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $4.77 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further two years in order to continue to pay for educational programs and operational costs in the district.
The second measure sought to add to the current school technology levy by a rate of $.40 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of two years in order to pay for technology and equipment upgrades and training in the district.

| Proposition 1: The Board of Directors adopted Resolution #02/11-12 concerning educational funding. This proposition authorizes the District to levy the following excess taxes, to replace an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, to support the District's educational programs and operations: Collection Years: 2013-2014; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $4.77, $4.72; Levy Amount: $15,010,077, $ 14,835,763. Should this proposition be approved?
Proposition 2: TThe Board of Directors of Mount Vernon School District No. 320 adopted Resolution #03111-12 concerning a technology modernization levy. The proposition authorizes acquiring educational and operational technology, equipment and training, including classroom computers to support instruction; and authorizes the following excess levies for such purposes on all taxable property within the District: Collection Years: 2013-2014; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $.40; Levy Amount: $1, 250,000. All as provided in District resolution #03/11-12. Should this proposition be approved?
