A Napa County Higher Weight Limit on the Napa County Airport Main Runway, Measure S ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in Napa County, where it was approved.[1]

Measure S increased the weight limit on the Napa County Airport's main runway. The weight limit previously in place was imposed by the county's voters in the 1970s. This is why another vote of the people was required to lift the existing weight limit.[1]

The county wants to rebuild the main runway, which is showing signs of aging. Voter approval of higher weight limits will facilitate the reconstruction. The county does not intend to change the class of aircraft that is allowed to land on the runway.[1]
