New London Exceed Revenue Limits (2008)

The New London Exceed Revenue Limits referendum was a school bond issue on the November 4 ballot in Outagamie and Waupaca Counties. It's purpose was to exceed revenue limits set by the state by $300,000 per year for the district. The additional funds would be used for recurring technology updates.

Text of measure

BE IT RESOLVED by the School board of the School District of New London, Waupaca, Outagamie and Winnebago Counties, Wisconsin that the revenues included in the School district budget for the 2008-2009 school year and thereafter be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $300,000 a year, for recurring purposes consisting of acquiring and installing technology hardware, software, infrastructure, and associated training.[1]

Result

Approved, by 74 votes (3,749 to 3,675).[2]
