ALBANY, New York: Former State Senator Eric Schneiderman, who was elected with nearly fifty-five percent of the vote as the state's new attorney general earlier this month, announced his transition team on Tuesday, November 16th, 2010. Comprised of legal experts from across both the state and the nation, the newly formed committee "reflects a diverse range of legal, academic and professional talent across a wide spectrum of backgrounds."[1] The Honorable Robert Adams, a former State Attorney General who endorsed Schneiderman in the general election campaign and severely criticized his opponent, Republican Dan Donovan, for his pro-life beliefs, was named to lead the committee. Other co-chairmans of the team included former United States Attorney Zachary Carter and Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore.
