The North Dakota County Taxes and Poor Relief Referendum, also known as Referendum 4, was on the June 26, 1962 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively-referred state statute, where it was defeated.[1][2] The measure would have reduced from 18 mills to 16 mills the tax levy limitations on counties with no limitation on tax levy for county poor relief purposes.[3]
