The North Dakota Redistricting Commission Initiative, also known as Amendment 1, was on the December 4, 1973 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have required the state be divided into individual Senate Districts and House sub-districts by an appointed nine member commission.[2]
