Two North Hampton & Tremont City Village Current Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the villages of North Hampton and Tremont City which are in Clark County.

The North Hampton measure sought to renew the current expenses levy which is set at a rate of $.45 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for current expenses in the village.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

North Hampton Measure: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of North Hampton for purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 4.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.45 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.

Tremont City Measure: An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Tremont City for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 12 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $1.20 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[4]
