Two North Randall Village Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of North Randall which is in Cuyahoga County.

Both measures were 'approved

The first measure sought to renew the current police levy which is set at a rate of $.07 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for police salaries, services and vehicle maintenance fees.

Police Levy

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of North Randall for the purpose of providing for and maintaining motor vehicles, communications and other equipment used directly in the operation of the Village's Police Department and payment of the salaries of permanent police personnel in the Village's Police Department at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 7.5 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five years commencing in year 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]

Fire Levy

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of North Randall for the purpose of providing for and maintaining fire apparatus and the payment of permanent, part-time or volunteer firefighters to operate the same at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 7.5 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five years, commencing in year 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
