Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
|The City Council of the City of Ocean Shores adopted Resolution No. 664 concerning property taxes to support emergency medical services. This proposition would permit the City to increase its regular property tax levy by $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to replace an expiring emergency medical services levy lid lift, resulting in a regular property tax levy of $2.85 per $1,000 for collection in 2013 ($3.137 per $1,000 if proposition one also is approved). These levy amounts would be used to compute the City's levy limits for 2014 and 2015 as allowed by Chapter 84.55 RCW.|
