Oklahoma Soldier Bonus Bill, State Question 116 (1922)
Oklahoma State Question 116 (Initiative #76) was on the November 7, 1922 ballot in Oklahoma. It received 255,887 "Yes" votes and 234,909 "No" votes; however, approval was required from 260,282 voters for passage, so it failed.
It was an initiated constitutional amendment.
The objective of the measure was to authorize a bonus for all WWI veterans from Oklahoma of $50 for each month served during America's involvement in the war.
