Oregon Ballot Measure 44 (2008) is a citizen initiated state statute that would maintain that Juvenile Offenders Cannot Be Incarcerated Past Their 18th Birthday and that the Maximum Sentence Cannot Exceed Two Years.

This initiative was approved for circulation by the Secretary of State and needs 82,769 to qualify for the ballot. As of January 16, 2008 supporters were prohibited from obtaining further signatures until accounts are produced.
