The Oregon Marijuana Possession as a Class C Misdemeanor Act, also known as Measure 57, was on the November 3, 1998 ballot in Oregon as a veto referendum, where it was defeated, thus overturning the legislature. The measure would have made the possession of less than one ounce of marijuana a Class C misdemeanor.
