Oregon Exceed Revenue Limits (2008)

The Oregon Exceed Revenue Limits referendum was a school bond issue on the November 4 ballot in the Oregon school district, which is in Dane County. Its purpose was to exceed revenue limits set by the state by $400,000 per year for 10 years (totaling $4,000,000 overall) for the district. The additional funds will be used to pay for capital maintenance projects at district facilities.

Text of measure

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Oregon School District, Dane, Rock, and Green Counties, Wisconsin that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $400,000 per year for ten (10) years beginning in the 2010-2011 school year and ending in the 2019-2020 school year, on a non-recurring basis for the purpose of paying the cost of capital maintenance projects at District facilities.
