The Oregon Support for Federal Balanced Budget Amendment Question, also known as Measure 12, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Oregon as an advisory question, where it was defeated. The measure petitioned the federal government to adopt an amendment to the constitution requiring a balanced federal budget.[1]
