Pamela Beidle is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 32. She was first elected to the chamber in 2006. She served on the County Council of Anne Arundel County from 1998-2006.

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Mark S. Chang and incumbents Pamela Beidle and Theodore J. Sophocleus defeated Spencer Dove, Tonja Mccoy and Steven D. Wyatt in the Democratic primary, while Mark Angell, Joseph Fioravante, and Tim Walters defeated Jesse Mayer in the Republican primary. Beidle, Chang and Sophocleus defeated Angell, Fioravante and Walters for three seats in the general election.[1][2]
