    • Bids and proposals are disclosed.[3]
  • Taxes
    • One is able to pay property taxes and vehicle fees online.[4]
    • The treasurer provides information on local tax rates and fines.[5]
  • Planning and zoning
    • Building permits are available online.[6]
    • Land use regulations are also published online.[7]
  • Financial documents
    • County budgets are available dating back to 2008.[8]
    • County audits are available dating back to 2007.[9]
    • The county also publishes the checkbook register and credit card receipts.[10]
  • Public records
    • The Clerk and Recorder acknowledges its role as Public Information Officer and provides an office address, phone number and email form.[11]
    • Fee schedules and a process for requesting public records is outlined on the site.

The bad

  • Sunshine Review requires that personalized emails be published for elected officials and for the heads of each department.

  • If the county engaged in lobbying activities or if it is a member of lobbying associations is not disclosed. Nor is the total cost lobbying activities or membership dues for associations available.
