A Park Ridge Noise Abatement Referendum was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Park Ridge, which is in Cook County.

This measure was defeated

  • NO 7,592 (56.96%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure was an advisory question which asked residents if they wanted the city to spend $500,000 in order to build further noise abatement solutions to compensate for nearby O'Hare Airport.[2] The city council had not made plans for how the money would be used if this measure had been approved but O'Hare officials stated that the airport would continue to expand and noise abatement measure are needed in the community.[3]
