Pasco School District Facility Construction Bond Proposition (February 2013)
This proposition authorized the Pasco School District to increase its debt by up to $46,864,000 by issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the construction of three new elementary schools, improve Stevens Middle School and Pasco High Schools, relocation New Horizons and other district improvements. These bonds would mature within 20 years.
A 60% super-majority was required for approval.

|“|| The Board of Directors of Pasco School District No. 1 adopted Resolution No. 850 concerning a proposition to finance construction and improvement of school facilities. This proposition would authorize the District to construct three new elementary schools, improve Stevens Middle and Pasco High Schools, relocate New Horizons, provide additional classrooms District-wide, make health, safety and infrastructure improvements, improve traffic flow at Mark Twain, design future school construction and/or renovation, and acquire land; issue no more than $46,864,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within 20 years; and levy annual excess property taxes to repay the bonds, as provided in Resolution No. 850.
