Elections for the office of Maryland House of Delegates will take place in 2014. A primary election took place June 24, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbents Anne R. Kaiser, Eric Luedtke and Craig J. Zucker defeated Valerie A. Nia Shell in the Democratic primary, while Patricia Fenati, Michael A. Ostroff and Sharon Trexler Begosh were unopposed in the Republican primary. Kaiser, Luedtke, Zucker, Fenati, Ostroff and Begosh face off for three seats in the general election. Nia Shell is running as a write-in candidate in the general election.[1][2]

Fenati was one of three candidates running for election from the Republican party. Fenati, Henry Kahwaty and Maria Pena-Faustino advanced beyond the primary because there were three available seats in the district. In the general election, they faced the winners of the Democratic primary between Ali Vanessa, Datt Neeta, Anne Kaiser (incumbent), Jodi Finkelstein, Eric Luedtke, Robert Newsome Gerald Roper and Craig Zucker.

Fenati lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in fourth.[3]
