Patricia A. Serpa (b. July 8, 1948) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 27. She was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

Biography

Serpa earned her B.Ed. from Mount Saint Joseph College and her M.Ed. from Providence College. Her professional experience includes working as a high school improvement liaison for Johnson and Wales University and as a teacher.[1]

Serpa won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 27. Serpa was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Kyle Pendola (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]

Serpa won re-election to the 27th District seat in 2010. She was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Mark Fleury and independent Thomas Jones in the general election on November 2, 2010.[6][7]
