Pat Rooney (b. February 6, 1964) is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 85. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Biography

Rooney earned his B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University, J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law and M.B.A. from Lehigh University. His professional experience includes working as the Managing Director/President of Rooney's Public House and Rooney's All In Sports Bar, as well as President of the Palm Beach Kennel Club.

Rooney and his wife, Patricia Kulp, have four children. He has been a governing board member for South Florida Water Management District and Director and Co-Chair of Rooney's Golf Foundation, Inc. Additionally, Rooney has been a trustee of three local Chambers of Commerce, and Director and Board President of the FAU Honors College.
