Peninsula Open Space Trust
The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) is an organization working to protect San Francisco Peninsula and Santa Cruz Mountain range. POST supports natural resource protection, wildlife habitat, public recreation, and agriculture of this area.[1] Founded in 1977, POST has saved more than 70,000 acres of land in one of the most desirable and expensive real estate markets. With the use of private and public funds POST purchases critical open spaces to protect wildlife areas for human and environmental purposes.[2]

POST is governed by their board of directors, advisory council, and staff.
