Pennsylvania Joint Resolution 2, also known as Granting the Commonwealth the Right to Trial by Jury in Criminal Cases, was on the November 3, 1998 ballot in Pennsylvania as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.

Text of measure

The language that appeared on the ballot:

This measure would amend the constitution to provide that the Commonwealth shall have the same right to trial by jury in criminal cases as does the accused.
