Phyllis Heineman
Phyllis M. Heineman (b. June 28, 1948) is a former Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 13 from 2011 to 2017.
Heineman did not seek re-election to the South Dakota State Senate in 2016.
Heineman served in the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 13 from 1999 to 2008.
Biography
Heineman graduated from SDSU with her bachelor's degree in Math.
Heineman began her career teaching mathematics and economics at Nettleton College. She later worked at home raising her three sons and tutoring students in math while getting involved in the community.

2014
The general elections for the office of South Dakota State Senate took place on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Reynold Nesiba was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Phyllis Heineman was unopposed in the Republican primary. Nesiba withdrew after the primary, and Heineman was unopposed in the general election.[5][6][7]
2012
Heineman won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 13. Heineman ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and defeated Sam Khoroosi (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8]
