A Pinellas County Charter Review Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Pinellas County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 161,940 (60.49%)Approveda
  • NO 105,758 (39.51%)[1]

This measure sought to extend the time between charter review commission sessions, from six years to eight years to coincide with presidential election cycles. The amendment would also require two public hearings be held before the charter review commission takes the proposed changes to the county commission.[2]

The St. Petersburg Times endorsed both these measures, saying that voting in favor would be beneficial to residents because they would be better educated about proposed amendments.[3]
