Progress Now (also referred to as ProgressNow) is a national umbrella organization for a "network of state partner organizations" that "fill a unique and critical role in the progressive infrastructure of key states." According to the organization's website, "ProgressNow state partners serve as non-stop, multi-issue advocacy organizations. Year-round, we promote progressive ideas and causes with creative earned media strategies, targeted email campaigns, and cutting-edge new media. Working with our allies, we have significantly improved the communications effort of the entire progressive community in our states."[1]

State affiliate groups include Progress Ohio, which is "bankrolled by the Democracy Alliance," the Courage Campaign, Progress Florida, Progress Michigan, Alliance for a Better Minnesota, Clearly New Mexico, Fuse Washington and One Wisconsin Now.[2]

History

Progress Now was founded in Colorado in 2003. Starting in 2006, the group began expanding to other states.[2]

Leadership

Denise Cardinal serves as Executive Director of Progress Now. Progress Now is governed by a national board.[1]

Elections

Progress Now has no history of making election contributions.[3]
