Put-In-Bay, Erie and Rocky Ridge Levy Measures, 6 (May 2010)

Six Put-In-Bay, Erie and Rocky Ridge Levy Measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in these different villages in Ottawa County.

There were four Put-In-Bay township measure. The first measure was in regards to the Port Authority and it asked for an additional .75 mill for a further five years in order to help with general continuing expenses. The second sought to levy an additional 1.5 mills for cemetery maintenance, the third 1.2 mills for maintaining the residential physician's house and the fourth for 2 mills to help with providing emergency medical care.

The Erie township sought to levy an additional 2.4 mills in order to help pay for a new fire truck and other emergency needs for the township.

The Rocky Ridge measure sought to increase a replacement levy for 5 mills in order to help pay for maintaining fire equipment and facilities.[1]
