CHEYENNE, Wyoming: The Casper City Council has decided to support the repeal of a public smoking ban passed last year. The city council is planning on holding a special election to decide the matter, but doing so requires that sufficient signatures be gathered for a referendum on the law. According to reports, the council must vote to repeal the ordinance in three separate readings by April 2, and the referendum must gather the required signatures by April 30. If this is accomplished, a special election will be held on June 10.[1]
