Renee Unterman is a Republican member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 45. She was first elected to the chamber in 2002.

Unterman served as Mayor of the City of Loganville from 1986 to 1990 and from 1996 to 1998, Commissioner for Gwinnett County from 1990 to 1994, and in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1998 to 2002.

Biography

Unterman earned her R.N. from Georgia State University and her B.A. in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Her professional experience includes working as a social worker, registered nurse, and insurance executive.
