This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $8 million in order to pay for new classrooms, a central office facility, bus barn and general improvements to the district. The bond would not increase current taxes in the district, the levy would just be extended until the bond is paid off. School officials note that over crowded classes have become an increasing problem and the need for more rooms is essential for the schools. If the bond is not approved, trailers would be added at the schools in order to hold more classes.
