The Retirement Laws Committee is a standing committee of the South Dakota House of Representatives.

Per Section H3-1 of the House Rules, committees of the South Dakota House of Representatives are chosen by the Speaker of the House in consultation with the Minority Leader. The rules do not specify when or how often committees are assigned. The Speaker of the House will appoint the chair and vice chair of each committee. The Speaker and the Speaker Pro Tempore will serve as members of the Legislative Procedure Committee, with the Speaker serving as its chair.[1]

The Retirement Laws Committee deals with bills relating to the pensions, annuities, and benefits of employees and officers in public service.[2][3]
