Richard S. Madaleno, Jr. is a Democratic member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 18. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006.


Madaleno earned his B.A. in History and Soviet Studies from Syracuse University in 1987 and his M.P.A. in 1989.[1]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent Rich Madaleno will face Dana Beyer in the Democratic primary.[2]
