Richard Mendoza was a U.S. Taxpayers Party candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Michigan in the 2014 elections.[1] Richard Mendoza lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Mendoza ran on the U.S. Taxpayers Party ticket for Lieutenant Governor of Michigan in the 2014 elections, alongside gubernatorial running mate Mark McFarlin. They faced the Republican ticket of incumbents Rick Snyder and Brian Calley, the Democratic ticket of Mark Schauer and Lisa Brown and two other minor party tickets.[1] The general election took place November 4, 2014.
