The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Charles O. "Chuck" Hendrix was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent R.C. "Rick" Jasperse was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hendrix will face Jasperse in the general election.[2][3]
