A Riverdale School District referendum was on the April 7 ballot in Riverdale, which is in Crawford, Grant, Iowa and Richland counties.

Status

Defeated, with 559 "yes" votes and 883 "no" votes.[1]

Text of measure

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Riverdale School District, Grant, Iowa, Crawford and Richland Counties, Wisconsin, that in order to provide for the maintenance of instructional services, co-curricular opportunities and investment in School District technology, the School District budget for each of the 2009-10 through 2011-12 school years and thereafter shall include the following amounts in excess of the revenue limits imposed by Section 121.91(2m), Wisconsin Statutes: for the 2009-10 school year an amount of $475,000 for recurring purposes; for the 2010-11 school year an additional amount of $80,000 for recurring purposes; and for the 2011-12 school year an additional amount of $55,000 for recurring purposes (for a total of $610,000 for the 2011-12 school year and thereafter).[2]
