An effort to recall Mayor Rob Jaeger in Crandon, Wisconsin from his position was launched in May 2014.[1]

Recall proponent arguments

Recall supporter Larry Alsteen said, "He would run [the city] himself. That's the way he wants it to be. He wants to be the number one guy. He wants to get rid of his committees and just run it himself."[1]

Recall proponents needed to collect 152 valid signatures in order to trigger a recall election. On June 10, 2014, recall proponents submitted 210 signatures. If the petition is not successfully challenged, a recall election will be scheduled in late July or early August.[1][2]
