Rob Joswiak was a 2014 Democratic candidate for the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Pennsylvania. However, he dropped out of the race prior to the filing deadline.[1]


Joswiak holds a bachelor's from Penn State University and an M.P.A from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. He also completed a graduate certificate in political management at George Washington University. In April 2013, he was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow, but due to sequestration and the shutdown in October 2013, was unable to secure a fellowship. Joswiak was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 2005-2010. He served as a combat journalist and later a combat correspondent and received several military decorations. He has also worked as a public affairs specialist in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and a product manager for the Department of Defense's Media Activity department.[2]

Joswiak was a candidate in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 3rd District. Joswiak dropped out of the race prior to the primary.[3][1]
