Coogan ran in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 52. Coogan was unopposed in the March 6 Libertarian primary election and was defeated by Branden Rudie (D) and District 55 incumbent Margaret Conditt (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3][4]
