Robert J. Benvenuti III is a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 88 from 2013 to 2018.
Benvenuti is the chair of the Republican Party of Kentucky.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Creasa E. Reed ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Robert J. Benvenuti III ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Benvenuti defeated Reed in the general election.[5][6][7]
